Compact Electric Bike Info
Compact electric bikes are becoming increasingly popular, often referred to as “Mixte” styles, and may have a sloped top tube. You’ll find compact electric bikes have more standover clearance, a shorter wheelbase, and a smaller rear triangle of the frame. They’re typically ideal for longer distances through urban environments. Their unique frame shape provides a stiffer ride, but one that is far more responsive and often lighter than non-compact counterparts. One huge benefit to compact electric bikes is their versatility with respect to riders. Unlike bikes whose geometry changes with size, compact frames are adjustable only at the seat post — perfect for sharing.
